BearBones BBQ is a creation of love. The journey started from a gift given to me by my Mother-in-law and has continued into a passion for creating recipes from my childhood, growing up in the deep south. When I think of BBQ I think of family and friends gathering at church socials, my Granddaddy with his homemade barrel BBQ pit, and the smell of meet smoking in the air.

 Growing up in Alabama, I was raised as a die-hard University of Alabama fan during the great Paul “Bear” Bryant’s dynasty. The name and logo are a tribute to a great coach of men. I am also a Veteran of the United States Marine Corp where I served in the first Gulf War. As a Marine I learned how important passion in your work is and I bring that level of passion to my cooking.
